Margaret Evans - Certified Veterinary Technician & Practice Manager
I moved to Montana in 1999 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science. I worked as a technician at Whitefish Animal Hospital for 7 years before moving to my current position as Practice Manager. This position enables me to have more time to spend with my husband, Marc, and our daughter, Brooke. In my spare time, I enjoy being in the outdoors with my family and our dogs: Rosie, Moose, and Phoenix.

Brooke Klemm - Assistant Manager
I am a 3rd generation Montanan, born and raised in Kalispell. After a 3 1/2 year stint in North Dakota, my husband and I moved back home to pursue more fulfilling careers. I started working for Whitefish Animal Hospital in June 2015, followed by the ground floor opportunity to be involved in the 2018 evolution of Bigfork Animal Hospital! I have 2 crazy little boys, 2 cats (Franz and Lizzie), and a Blue Heeler named Rue. I try to spend as much of my spare time practicing aerial arts at Levitation Nation, hiking, and kayaking.

I moved to Bigfork in July 1979. I have traveled the world and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I opened the first video store in Bigfork in 1983, "Grapevine Video". I operated it till 1995. Years later, I transitioned from working at Northshore Animal Clinic to Bigfork Animal Hospital when we opened in September 2018. The funny thing about this was I was working in the same building and the same space as my former video store. I love being around animals. My husband and I have a dog named Skye, Spooky our black cat, and Sasha our horse. I enjoy the outdoors, the culinary arts, and gardening.

I have been working as a Veterinary Technician since 2017. I grew up loving all animals and wanting to help them. I am grateful to be working at Bigfork Animal Hospital with a wonderful staff. I enjoy trail rides and camping with my horse, Spike and mule Delilah. I also like to do small hikes with my dog Axel.

I’ve been part of the amazing team at Bigfork Animal Hospital since June 2020, but my journey started in Michigan; where I grew up, married my high school sweetheart and started working at a small animal practice when I was thirty years old. My husband and I have always been drawn to the mountains, so in 2012 we loaded up our SUV’s and traveled across the country with our four K9 kiddos and settled in Pine, Colorado. It didn’t take me long to land another job in a veterinary hospital but this time at a mixed animal practice where we saw both large and small animals — it was very interesting and a lot of fun working with so many different species! After spending 7 years in Colorado, we decided to make the move to Montana where we are blessed to call Bigfork our home. Just like everyone else who lives here, my favorite place to be is outside enjoying the vast beauty that surrounds us!

I grew up in a small town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and moved to the Mountains right out of high school. I did an internship as a Vet Assistant in high school and have been in Vet Med ever since. I met my husband right after I moved here and we settled down in Kalispell with our two dogs Bella and Kaija. I enjoy hunting, fishing and just being outside with my husband and our sidekicks.
